The Team
Larry English
CEO
An entrepreneur and leader to the core, Larry English serves as CEO of Union Property Company, where he leads the strategic vision and growth of the organization. Prior to joining Union Property Co., Larry was one of the top picks in the 2009 NFL Draft when he was selected 16th overall by the then-San Diego Chargers. Very early on in his professional career, Larry had the foresight to see beyond simply his opportunity in professional sports. It was this vision that then drove him to lay the foundation toward becoming an owner and changemaker in his own right, allocating on-field earnings toward real estate investment and philanthropic pursuits through his Larry English LEAD Foundation, founded in 2010. Upon retiring from the NFL, following a seven-year playing career, he recognized an opportunity to pursue a mission larger than himself--that of addressing the apparent void in the real estate industry for diverse operators and developers. His early development projects, with total capitalization north of $80MM, would look to address this greater cause through his “Goal Line Capital” family of partnerships. Larry is an active member of the Urban Land Institute Los Angeles Chapter and resides in Los Angeles along with his wife Nicole.
Jay Cash
Head of Operations
Distinguished with over 20 years in the real estate industry, Jay Cash serves as the Head of Operations for Union Property Company. A serial entrepreneur having founded, scaled and exited multiple businesses in his own right, Jay oversees and implements integral company processes that drive all functions of the business. His numbers-driven systems and detailed oriented philosophy have become a hallmark of the organization and facilitate the day to day execution present across all operating verticals within the firm.
Shaya Theodore
Director of Administration
Exhibiting an extensive tenure in finance and accounting related roles, Shaya serves as Director of Administration for Union Property Company. Prior to joining Union Property Co. Shaya served as an auditor within a third-party auditing organization. Her superior professionalism and detail oriented nature allow her to manage and oversee all organizational and administrative functions within the firm.
